A new web-portal "Azterm.az" is prepared by the National Academy of Sciences for the wide use of Azerbaijani language, collection of terms concerning different spheres of science in a common virtual space.
Alongside with general terms, the newly derived words belonging to different fields will be included in the portal.
The new portal to be created by the Terminology Commission and Information Institute will involve nearly 600.000 terms for the time being. Later on it will be enriched thanks to new terms. Now there are about 600 terminological dictionaries in our country.
