An art exhibition to be organized by the British Council will open at the Azerbaijan State Academy of Art on February 22.
The exhibition will feature the modern British art works from the British Council's rich art collection.
The exhibition, which features recent acquisitions, some of them to be exhibited for the first time, has fine examples of graphic work by Henry Moore which he presented to the 50th anniversary of British Council.
Visitors will have a chance to familiarize themselves with contemporary works by some of Great Britain's leading artists such as Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin, Anish Kapoor, Mike Nelson, Anya Gallaccio, as well as pioneering works by Eduardo Paolozzi and William Turnbull.
The exhibition will last till February 28.
